We where contacted by one of our listeners and sent an instruction manual of a water meter that was installed in the shore that holds his main water supply. This meter was installed last night and when we went to take a photo of it today, it had been removed.
Luckily, the listener managed to get a copy of the instruction manual for the meter. If you notice, it says that the device is manufacturered/supplied by a company in the UK. You would think, that with the country going through major austerity measures, the Irish government would use an Irish company to manufacture/supply the meters. Apparently a company called "Evola" (we think this is how it is spelt) is the company who will be installing the meters, but this is unconfirmed. We are no fans of the water meters, but we do feel that they should be manufacturered and/or supplied by an Irish company to create jobs. Shame on you Irish Government!
